I mean, who wouldn’t?
DeVon Franklin and Meagan Good finalized their divorce last year after nine years of a picture-perfect marriage. Following their divorce, both were candid. While Meagan admits that the time was difficult for her, DeVon claims he cried before bed most nights and did have to work through extreme pain to be the better person he is now. So why didn’t they use that same energy to work on their marriage?
DeVon has been speaking about Meagan and Jonathan Major’s romance, and it seems to be reviving his pain since DeVon will grab another chance with Meagan without hesitation.
“Mentally, I’m doing much better but the process to that, like, I can sit here before all of you and have this interview and be calm and introspective and all that. But that comes from a process, you know?” he said on The Breakfast Club.
“I mean, there are nights [where] I’m crying myself to sleep,” he added. “There are moments when I’ve been angry, but I’ve allowed myself to feel whatever I felt in order to heal because in my experience when I’m not facing what I’m feeling, then I’m trying to find something else to help me get through the pain.”
Meagan Good is reportedly now dating shamed Hollywood actor, Jonathan Majors. Majors was arrested and charged after allegedly physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend. The actor has consistently denied the allegations but has already lost various deals and even his agents.
He went through the pain diligently. Hopefully, DeVon will move on too; he seemed pretty stuck on Good even after working through that pain. Well, the slower he deals with it, the better he heals, so good luck to him. He shouldn’t just become a commentator on his ex-wife’s romantic life; it is cringy.
